This show was produced at Florida State University in Opperman Hall. Transformations is based off of the poetry book by Anne Sexton. Her poetry device was using fairytale stories to expose the trauma and abuse she experienced as a child and young adult. It was funny, crude, exciting, and vulnerable to play the daughter of Anne Sexton- who was also abused by her mother.
